Schools, Nurseries and Groups

A school, nursery or group trip to Knockhatch Adventure Park is a fantastic way to engage children whilst educating them about history and nature.

We have recently built a Victorian London set to host our Sherlock Holmes Experience. It is the perfect venue to remind children about their Victorian Times lessons. We work in partnership with the Conan Doyle Estate and the experience provides information regarding Sir Arthur's most famous characters.

We have many different animals and birds to capture the attention of your group and open their minds to learning new things.

Whether you’re a teacher, nursery leader, parent, group leader or guardian, you will know that learning is all about discovery; and there’s no better place to discover new things than here at Knockhatch Adventure Park.

We offer a range of learning activities which are linked to the National Curriculum including talks and displays given by our animal handlers and hands-on activities with the opportunity to handle some of our smaller animals. These activities are designed to give children some insight into the lives of these animals, as well as the need for their conservation and care.

Children will enjoy the chance to see animals up close in their different habitats, in this safe and managed environment, supervised by our staff. We also offer a range of fun outdoor and indoor activities so that they can learn and play, all in one day.

With over 20 years' experience, we aim to make your visit as smooth as possible and offer flexibility to tailor the activities of your visit and according to your requirements. Please email bookings@knockhatch.com to plan your visit.
